It seems like only yesterday that we were having an “ol’ fashioned” in a little cocktail bar in Richmond (der Raum, Melbourne). At the end of the bar was a flower arrangement like no other we had seen before. Chracterised by the bold use of recycled materials – the creator had managed to turn the everyday into art.
The following dialogue ensued:
Us: “Who did that? It’s great!”
Barman: “Joost.”
Us: “Joost?”
Barman: “But you say it Joost – as in toast”.
Well these days Joost is pretty well known, his style is unmistakable and his name is just as cryptic to pronounce.
