The little Emerald Isle has a long history of punching above its weight and exporting its creativity and culture to the world…. from the rock gods U2 to Guinness Beer.
There is now another addition to this list of Irish exports – the textile company Avoca. Their products are still hand-woven at their original Mill in the picturesque village of Avoca in County Wicklow, just the same way they have been making them since 1723.
Contrary to what you might expect from a business with such a long history, their products are anything but staid and traditional. For Avoca it’s all about contemporary colour.
We have just received an order of their lovely throws and accessories and they are now available at our Malvern and Middle Park stores.
